The French Tennis Federation (FFT) requires, for indoor tennis courts, a value of 500 lux in all areas of the court.
The architect and the design office of Everlite Concept digitally simulate the building with ArchiWIZARD, energy simulation software.
The design office can alter various characteristics,
(thickness, colour, finish,) of the material in order to meet the
requirements of the FFT.
For example, at Borotra tennis, it was the Opal Danpalon® with a thickness of 10 mm, that was identified as the best solution to bring an homogeneous, uniform light over the entire playing area.

Softlite finish: this finish greatly reduces the so-called “neon” specular effects. Characterized by a matt appearance, the Softlite finish is applied by co-extrusion to Danpalon® panels of all thicknesses and colours. Validated by a study conducted by the CSTB, the Softlite finish suppresses the glare effect and ensures maximum visual comfort whatever the exposure and type of construction.
