The Light cinema experience

The Light Cinema plays a key role in revitalizing the working-class neighborhood in downtown Sheffield.
Architect Leslie Jones Architecture (Simon Brown) has chosen a vibrant facade that is just as attractive and inviting day and night.
A clever combination, installed by Jon Lazell (Co-Managing Director, Keyclad Limited) of Danpalon® BRV colored rain panels and LED backlighting provided a perfect solution.

The Vue Cinema

The Cinema View is a separate landmark on High Street & Town Square. The architecture agency 3D Reid (Kévin Langan) has chosen to give the building rhythm by playing with solid and empty, opaque and translucent, between the bronze metallic cladding and the Danpalon® ice panels.
During the day, these two surfaces installed by the company Keyclad Limited in Belper, in the colors chosen for their harmony, offer variations in tones depending on the clouds and the sun.
At night, the cinema reveals its activity through facades that let in light.

Ciné 32

The design of a new cinema in Auch managed by the Ciné32 association was inspired by small local post-war cinemas.
"We wanted natural interior lighting during the day, as well as at night, this section, which had become a luminous sign for the cinema, kept the gaze and guides the spectators," explains the architect Nicola Delon (Encore heureux).
This function is ensured by a Danpalon® skin, lit by both interior and exterior projectors and decorated with adhesive panels created by the artist Bonnefrite.

The Lexicon Bracknell

At the heart of a far-reaching urban regeneration scheme, a multi-screen cinema building was to play an important role in bringing life back to one of the UK’s original new towns.
Meeting aesthetic, weight and cost requirements, a vibrant cinema facade of back-lit Danpalon® polycarbonate cladding panels helped to achieve the scheme’s goals.
